  • Quote from Avinus: “1. There is no possibility of removing buildings, it would be nice if it were introduced, because it is often the case that the buildings we do not want are limited to us, and we cannot build what we want... 2. Ships should be ranged units so that they can attack cities and units on the shore. 3. The introduction of two or three-person coalitions, and the possibility of co-victory as a coalition. 4. New maps from the colonial and European wars and America's defense against co…

Quote from freezy: “Which was unfortunately not as successful. So well, we have to try some things and adjust the game formula. If it works out this will open new opportunities in the future. ” Actually, it didn't work out. Small AI Countries still are crippled, and the game did not attract new players after these changes.

Quote from freezy: “Provinces of big AI countries (the ones that you can choose as a player when the game starts) produce the same amount as your provinces. Only the small AI countries (that you cannot choose as player when the game starts) produce less. ” Assume some other player conquered some AI countries, then got annoyed by the poor results and went inactive. I conquer the inactives players territory. How do I know, which of my new provinces are "former big country" and which are "former sm…

Quote from Alkyonor: “ - Fixed a bug that allowed team members to attack each other. ” Was that really a bug or rather a feature? There may be situations when it's better to destroy an idling comrade rather than let him get caught by the opponent.

Quote from King Phillip: “So you are saying every time I leave the game and come back all the areas I have explored will now have different resources? ” Nobody is saying that. The point is, you can have several games of NWE running - more than one map of the same scenario. Before the update, all maps had the same ressource distribution - if you had explored the Azores on one map, you knew it will always have food, even on maps where you hadn't explored there yet. If you had explored Bermuda on o…

  • The player doesn't even have to be kicked - being marked inactive after not logging in for e.g. 2 full days is enough. All bytor games work this way - player marked inactive, country immediately governed by AI until either the player comes back or is kicked and replaced.

  • Just checked the game rules, and quite on top was the interdict never to post any propaganda related to National Socialism. I'm curious: does that mean that *inter*national socialism / bolshewism is okay? Personally, and especially for a game set in pre-Marxism eras, i would consider Stalinism and Maoism just as inappropriate as Hitlerism.

  • Quote from haywoodjb: “Thanks. I did set to peace and it was eventually accepted. It did take a little longer than I wanted. It would be nice to know if there are specific factors that determine when peace will be accepted after setting your relation to peace. Could you confirm as well that when a player goes inactive (appears as circle in diplomacy screen) that the AI is managing that country at that point? ” Don't be confused by the term "Artificial Intelligence" - the AIs do not act as ration…

  • Check the diplomacy screen - sort by "their relation", first click on "their relation" gives allies on top, second click gives enemies on top - check how many provinces the diplo screen says your enemy has left. Is it really 0 ? Normal (non-Elite) AI accepts peace quite soon if you have stopped killing their troops, one or two days might be enough.

Quote from Lord Druzus: “ more provinces = more WO = more cap = more army = more conquered province .... empire building circle ” that's great - it need way more preparation than in Supremacy, but finally it is possible to conquer the world!
