Can you see what allies have explored?

I have heard many people saying you can see what your allies have explored, however, when my allies ships explore the unexplored seas, or land, I do not get that information. Is what people are saying true, or is it just me?

No, you should not be able to see what an ally has explored incognito to your player nation. There is an option to trade exploration maps via the diplomacy window/Trades button.
