Do our player statistics ever update?

I've done so much and, nothing has changed for days I don't think. Why would these things not update automatically?

Is your game ranked? I have the impression that only ranked games count for statistics. Normally they update once a day, sometime near or just after midnight GMT. Also, if you have been fighting non-player forces that doesn't count unless advanced AI is turned on (a feature that costs).

The current stat issue is a known issue and is currently being worked on by the developers.

And yes Roger is correct only ranekd games count towards stats

On a Leprechán note: Title is kinda wrong tho isint it:

seen as you are level 3 so the stats do update otherwise folk would all be the same level

what is a ranked game? How would I get in one?

I have been at this level for a while. I don't think it has changed for several days. I had no rank for at least my first 5 days. In between it has changed occasionally. For a brief period it seemed to be updating regularly (brief, like a day and a half)

Its almost as if the developers are doing the stats by hand on paper.

I am a computer programmer (or I was, I went to college for it) so I feel like I have a pretty good idea of the difference between easy programming tasks, and hard ones is, and this is an easy one. Fixing the chat window scrolling to the top is a hard task (because they probably didn't write the code for the chat box)

What do we get stat points for? I don't even know. Does anyone know or do we all just randomly do things and get awarded participation points at someone's whim?

btw, I could care less about my stats. I want to understand how and when we get points as a means of evaluating my opposition.

My stats havent been updated for a while either (several days). I have six games in which I am active. I dont think I have battled active players in that time but some of my games have only a couple of active players in them. I was under the impression that economic development also counted towards your stats (and if it does not that would be another issue). I also would like some clarification about how a game becomes "ranked". I started a a game with Elite AI on but I am the only player in the game and I would like to know if I will be getting points if no one else joins.

if you look Master Leppy answered by saying that stat's aren't updating properly and it is a known bug, Additionally it will tell you in your game list if your game is ranked or not and when you join a game it will tell you if it's ranked or soon to be ranked,

for a game to be ranked it must have a minimum amount of human players starting it off and active at the same time.

and the stats are for a personal reference of what you've done not really a great reference of how good the other player is
